GFRIEND (여자친구) was a South Korean 6-member Kpop girl group under Source Music. The group members consisted of Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji. They debuted on January 16, 2015 with the EP “Season of Glass“

GFRIEND Facts:

– The concept of the group was “powerful innocent”, “passionate melancholy”, and “witch”.
– They also collaborated with the Japanese pop group Sonar Pocket.
–  In 2020, they  became the first-ever girl group to be interviewed for the Grammy Mini Masterclass.
– They disbanded on May 22, 2021, when the members left Source Music following the expiration of their contracts.
– Eunha, SinB, and Umji are currently the members of the girl group Viviz under BPM Entertainment.
