Madtown (매드타운), stylized as MADTOWN, was a seven-member South Korean boy group under J. Tune Camp, which was then replaced by GNI Entertainment. The group consisted of Moos, Daewon, Lee Geon, Jota, Heojun, Buffy, and H.O. They debuted on October 6th, 2014 with their first extended play, MAD TOWN.

– The group’s greeting was “Welcome to Madtown! Hello, we are MADTOWN!”
– They were almost called “Unicorn”.
– Madtown’s first label completely dissolved.
– They filed a lawsuit against GNI Entertainment for not paying them and lack of support in August 2017 and fortunately won.
– In November 2017, the group disbanded and was confirmed by Daewon.

Moos Facts:

– Moos is from Hampyeong, South Jeolla Province, South Korea.
– Although originally set to debut with MBLAQ, personal reasons led him to drop out, allowing Thunder to take his place.

Daewon Facts:

– Daewon is from Chaenon, South Korea.
– He attended Cheonan Technical High School.

– Prior to his current endeavors, he trained under ABM Entertainment, which is also known as EXID’s company.
– His favorite nickname by his fans was “Huindungi”.
– He made an appearance in the inaugural episode of EXID’s show, But But TV.
– He contributed as a backup dancer during promotions for K.Will’s Love Blossom, EXO’s Growl, and Ladies’ Code’s Pretty Pretty.

Jota Facts:
