Martini (마티니) was a three-member South Korean project girl group that was formed in 2022 but the project was abandoned in 2023 and their debut was subsequently cancelled. The group members consisted of Heejin, Seungyeon, and Chaeyun.

Martini Facts:

– The group’s name is a cocktail drink name that is meant to “intoxicate their fans with their music.”
– Martini was originally planned to debut as a traditional Korean trot girl group.
– Members Heejin was a Stars Awakening contestant in the past and Seungyeon and Yeeun were former LILAI members. They also competed (as a group) in Hello Trot.
– Martini was created in late 2022 as a result of the disbandment of LILAI, a four-member project trot female combo that was supposed to be cast in a web drama.
– Members Haeeun, Seungyeon, and Yeeun are all musical actresses, although Haeeun has more experience and a lengthier career.
– In March 2023, Haeeun’s details were found missing from their Naver Cafe, indicating her exit from Martini.

Seungyeon Facts:

– Seungyeon released a solo digital single titled “Jjim” under the stage name ‘Bitnari’ on May 4, 2018.
– Since elementary school, she has been dubbed an accordion prodigy and her grandfather and great uncles taught her.
– She is also a former contestant on the reality shows Hello Trot, Trot Queen, Miss Trot, Hidden Singer 5, and National Singing Contest.
– She graduated from the Hanlim Multi Art School’s Applied Music Department in Songpa, Seoul.

Haeeun Facts:

– She is a YouTuber and a theater and musical actress.
– Haeeun is notable for her participation in several singing survival shows, including National Singing Contest, ALL IN, Hello Trot, and Show Queen.
– She likes singing, dancing and talking.
– Haeeun earned a bachelor’s degree in Film and Musical Studies from Myongji University in 2016. She formerly attended Anyang Arts High School, where she graduated in 2013.
– She departed the group in early 2023.
– She came in the top 30 on the singing survival show “Show Queen”.
– She won the KBS National Singing Contest in Poetry Popularity and represented Suwon City in 2019.
