Early Life

– Ahn So Hee was born in Jeongneung-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, South Korea.
– She went to Seoul Sungdeok Elementary School.
– She transferred from Cheongdam Middle School and graduated from Korea University College of Education Affiliated Middle School.
– Her parents divorced when she was in 4th grade of elementary school and she was raised by her single father.
– In 2004, her teacher recommended her to the director Yoo Dae-ol when she was in 6th grade and she appeared in the role of a deaf girl in a short film “Synesthesia by Overtone Structure”.
– She used to practice Taekwondo from kindergarten to elementary school.

Personal Life

– She dropped out of window girl’s high school and passed her High School Graduation Academic Qualification Examination.
– She has one older sister born in 1986 and she is six years older than her.
– Her older sister, Ahn So-young, is a shoe designer and EYIEN brand representative
– In the 2000s, she was nicknamed the “Nation’s Little Sister”. She used to get burdened by it but now appreciates it.
– Her father used to run a clothing factory but it was closed down.
– She used to be very quiet during her trainee days that G Soul used to think she was mute.

– She joined BH Entertainment in February 2014 after leaving JYP but left the company in 2015. She returned to BH in 2018.
– In September 2015, she joined KeyEast Entertainment and left in 2018.
– She appeared in many dramas including “Thirty-Nine”, “Welcome to Waikiki 2”, “Entourage”, “Thirty-Nine”, and “Missing: The Other Side 2”.
– She starred in many films including “The Daechi Scandal” (2024) Vestige (2021), Memories (2019), Train to Busan (2016), and A Single Rider (2017).
– She departed from Wonder Girls on December 21, 2013, to pursue an acting career.
– She participated in the 8th SM Entertainment ‘Best Youth Contest’ and won 2nd place for her visuals.
