UN1CON (유니콘) is an upcoming Japanese five-member girl group produced by Roydo. The group members consist of Manami, Joa, Kokoro, Akari, and Narae. They are expected to debut in October 2024.

– All the members are/were students of the SPECIAL 1 ENTERTAINMENT ACADEMY in Japan where Roydo works as an instructor.

1. Manami

Manami Facts:

– Manami was born in Fukuoka, Japan.
– She is friends with Moka from ILLIT.
– She can speak Japanese, basic English, Korean and Filipino.
– She went to Fukuoka School Of Music High School.
– She is a fan of BLACKPINK, TWICE and BIGBANG.
– She enjoys playing games in her spare time.
– She was about to debut with ZStarts as she had passed the auditions at Z-POP Dream.
– She loves to eat panna kokorotta, cheese, Nata De Coco and fruits.
– She used to train with Fuko (former I-LAND 2 contestant) under Bridge Dance School.
– She was revealed as the fifth member of the group.
– She is good at finding something interesting to do.

2. Akari

Akari Facts:

– Akari was born in Chiba, Japan.
– She enjoys going to the sauna, watching movies and taking Japanese baths called “ganban’yoku”.
– Her specialties include her handwriting, dancing and imitating Bo-chan.
– She likes the songs “Ate That” by YOUNG POSSE, “UTK” by KIRIN and “Our Song” by Taylor Swift.
– She was revealed as the second member of UN1CON.
– She likes to eat Yokan and pickled cucumbers.

3. Narae

Narae Facts:

– Narae was born in Tokyo, Japan.
– She likes the songs “ If It Shines” by Goose House, “I’ll Do It” by Reidi Montag and “Merry-go-round of Life” by Joe Hisaishi.
– She enjoys walking alone, reading manga and admiring nature in her spare time.
– She was revealed as the fourth member of the UN1CON.
– Her specialties are spinning and eating a lot.
– She likes to eat yukhoe and rice flour bagels.

4. Joa

Joa Facts:

– Joa was born in Tokyo, Japan.
– She graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Ooyama High School.
– She participated on the survival show PRODUCE 101 JAPAN THE GIRLS and she got eliminated in episode 10. Her final rank was #22.
– She likes to eat miso soup and rice balls.
– She journals daily.
– Her specialties include dancing and taking part in Awa Odori.
– She likes to look at old photos and listen to music in her spare time.
– She was revealed as the third member of UN1CON.
– She likes the songs “Tonight” by Hirai Dai, “Nobody’s Better” by Suzi and “Bad Girl” by Usher.

5. Kokoro

Kokoro Facts:

– Kokoro was born in Saitama, Japan.

– She was revealed as the first member of the group.
– She enjoys listening to music and watching pigs in her spare time.
