– Jun. K was born in Daegu, South Korea.

Pre-debut Journey
– Jun. K wanted to invest in music but couldn’t due to financial difficulties so in his first year of highschool he participated in a singing competition in Daegu and won household items like Kimchi refrigerator, electrical cooker, as well as mini sound system set, which made his mother realise his potential. – His father allowed him to pursue music in his second year of highschool after he participated in and won Teacher Song Hae’s show and got a 29inch slim TV as a prize which he placed in his father’s room. After that his parents enrolled him in a music school which he attended for 9 months then submitted his demo tracks to YG and JYP.
– He got accepted to YG Entertainment and was about to sign the contract with them when JYP contacted him and offered to take part in the talent show which he accepted.

– The hardest time for him as a trainee was when he asked a trainee to punch his attendance card for him because he wanted to buy something for breakfast and he was scolded by the management and was sent back to Daegu.
