VCHA (비춰) members are Lexi, Camila, Kendall, Savanna, KG, and Kaylee. The upcoming 6-member K-pop girl group is under JYP Entertainment. The group was made through ‘A2K (America2Korea)‘ , the survival show on 21st September, 2023. They released a pre-debut single, ‘SeVit (NEW LIGHT)‘ on September 22, 2023.

– The name ‘VCHA’ stands for making fans all over the world feel happy and bright, like turning on a light.
– It’s a girl group with members from different countries: Lexi, Kendall, Savanna, and KG are from the United States, Camila is from Canada, and Kaylee who is both Korean and American.
– VCHA will mostly promote in the US.

1. Lexi

Lexi Facts:

– Lexi was the very first member to be introduced in VCHA.
– She grew up listening to R&B, pop, and K-Pop.
– She is Hmong and she comes from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. (TV GUIDE)
– She loves drawing and painting.
– Before joining A2K, she was part of a K-Pop cover group called “prism kru.”
– One person she really looked up to was Misty Copeland, the ballet dancer.
– She and Camilla hang out by being on their phone next to each other without talking or having really deep talks.
– Now, she lives in Cook County, Chicago, Illinois, in the USA.
– According to VCHA members, she is the funniest in the group. (Teen Vogue)
– Her dream collaboration is with the groups under JYP Entertainment. (The Knockturnal)
– She’s really good at ballet and practiced it for 12 years.
– Her favorite food is Beef Tendon Soup. (J-14 Magazine)
– Kaylee would sort her into Hufflepuff, along with KG, because of her loyalty and kindness.

2. Camila

Camila Facts:

– Camila was introduced as the third member of VCHA.
– Both her parents are musicians.
– She was born in Spain and later moved to Cuba.
– Now, she lives in Canada.
– Shakira was her role model while growing up.
– She looks up to the Kpop group TWICE because of their bond as a team and the fact that they love what they do. (J-14 Magazine)
– In the first episode of A2K, she sang Adele’s “Easy On Me” for her audition.
– She started singing with her brother when she was just 5 years old.
– Her parents are both musicians and she started singing when she was 5 with her brother. (Teen Vogue)
– She also took part in the “BTS – Love Yourself” Campaign.
– In 2016, she participated in “La Voix Junior” (The Voice Junior) and made it to the top 3.
– She’s fluent in three languages: French, Spanish, and English.
– Kaylee would place her either in Gryffindor or Hufflepuff because of her kindness, patience, and willingness to help others. (The Knockturnal)
– She sport the number 8 on her jersey because it was her grandmother’s favorite number.
– She has loved singing since she was very little and even competed in singing contests with her brother.
– She loves writing and has been writing since she was young.

3. Kendall

Kendall Facts:

– Kendall was the very last member to be introduced, making her the sixth member of VCHA.
– She grew up listening to choral and gospel music. (Teen Vogue)
– She is from Fort Worth, Texas, USA.
– She was going for STEM education in college but withdrew herself for the love of music.
– Kaylee would sort Kendall into Ravenclaw because she’s really clever. (The Knockturnal)
– She got the chance to go to Korea for a special K-pop program and even performed with her friends there.
– Music means everything to her, it’s like her whole life.
– She is inspired by the Kpop group Stray Kids, especially 3RACHA.
– She also took dance lessons growing up.
– She has a mixed background, part Vietnamese and part American.
– She was in choir in school, and she did choir outside of school, as well as competed in choir competitions.
– She did ballet for five years and also tried jazz, theater, and lyrical dance styles.
– She and Savannah are gaming duos.
– Her favorite food includes Red Bean Sesame Balls and Katsu. (J-14 Magazine)
– She enjoys sketching and doing little animations. Animation was another field that she wanted to go into.
– She has an older sister named Aimee, who was born in 2003 or 2004.
– She grew up performing and would do church musicals.
– She likes gaming and playing Valorant with her fellow members.

4. Savanna

Savanna Facts:

– Savanna was introduced as the fourth member of VCHA.
– She was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA.
– She really admired Michael Jackson while growing up.
– She’s a mix of Venezuelan from her mom’s side and Trinbagonian from her dad’s side.
– She has a hat collection with over 15 hats. (Billboard)
– She learned the choreography of TWICE’s “TT” as her first K-Pop song.
– She trained to become a professional gymnast for seven years, but unfortunately, she had to stop because of an injury.
– She finds Kaylee to be the funniest.
– Her dream collaboration would be with ITZY and NMIXX. (The Knockturnal)
– She believes that the discipline she learned from gymnastics will be useful in her career in Korean music.
– She has a twin brother named Alonso and an older sister named Brianna Lauren, who was born in either 2001 or 2002.
– She likes gaming.
– She usually goes to the PC cafe with Kendall to relieve stress by playing Valorant.

KG Facts:

– KG was the second member to be introduced in VCHA.
– She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, but shortly after her birth, she moved to Michigan, where she lived until she was 13.
– In 2021, KG relocated to Los Angeles, California, USA.
– She has received training in musical theater.
– She really enjoys sports such as Skateboarding, Basketball, and Football. (Teen Vogue)
– Songwriting is one of her skills and she is interested in music production as well. She has been training in music production in her free time.
– She is highly interested in high fashion and photography. (The Knockturnal)
– If given the chance to open for any artist’s show, she would choose BLACKPINK.
– She is a multi-talented musician; she can play the guitar, piano, and drums.
– The fashion brand that’s currently her favorite is Celine and she has been wearing a Celine hat a lot.
– Kaylee would choose to put her in Hufflepuff, along with Lexi, because she’s kind and loyal.
– Remarkably, she began her modeling career at just 4 years old, starting with Ford Models.
– Initially, her stage name during auditions was KG Crown (케이지 크라운).
– She was inspired by Taylor Swift when growing up.

– Her favorite color is purple.
– She learned to sing and play the guitar and piano when she was 7.
– She started her musical journey through a band with her brothers.
– She goes to the shopping mall with Kaylee.
– She started singing at the young age of 7 and even formed a band called Good Kicks with her three older brothers named Jake, Ryan, and Joseph Dean.
– For her A2K audition, she sang and played the guitar on the song “Issues” by Julia Michaels and successfully made it through.
– She’s not just a singer; she also writes and releases her own music.
– In her band, KG Crown took on the role of lead vocals and played backup guitar and backup piano.
– She even released her first solo song titled “Porcelain Queen.”

Kaylee Facts:

– Kaylee was introduced as the fifth member of VCHA.

– She also loves baking and eating when she bakes.
– She’s skilled in both English and Korean languages.
– Her mom was a music major, so she was always around music.
– She wants to do collaborations with Taylor Swift and NF. (The Knockturnal)
– She got placed in the Slytherin house every time she took the official Hogwarts House Sorting Quiz.
– She has a Harry Potter collection.
– She said that seeing groups like NEWJEANS and NMIXX debut with members around her age inspired her to pursue music.
– Her favourite movies are the Harry Potter series.
– Her favourite food is chocolate.
– Her favourite colours are silver, pastel, purple and green. (J-14 Magazine)
– She is known for being determined and always having a well-thought-out plan for everything she does.
– She looked up to TWICE.
– Surprisingly, she began training in singing just one week before the final audition and learned her performance in only three days.
– While she’s confident in her singing abilities, she admits that she’s not a great dancer.
– Nevertheless, her breathing technique earned praise from Park Jin Young.
– She loves food and eating.
