VCHA (비춰) is a 6-member K-pop girl group under JYP Entertainment. The group members are Lexi, Camila, Kendall, Savanna, KG, and Kaylee. They made their debut on January 26, 2024 with the single album, ‘Girls of the Year’. The group was formed on the show A2K (America2Korea).

1. Lexi

Lexi Facts:

– Lexi was the very first member to be introduced in VCHA.
– She grew up listening to R&B, pop, and K-Pop.
– She is Hmong and she comes from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. (TV GUIDE)
– She loves drawing and painting.
– Before joining A2K, she was part of a K-Pop cover group called “prism kru.”
– One person she really looked up to was Misty Copeland, the ballet dancer.
– She and Camilla hang out by being on their phone next to each other without talking or having really deep talks.
– Her representative emojis are T-Rex (🦖) and Cheese (🧀).
– Now, she lives in Cook County, Chicago, Illinois, in the USA.

– Her MBTI is ISFP.

2. Camila

Camila Facts:

– Camila was introduced as the third member of VCHA.
– Both her parents are musicians.
– She was born in Spain and later moved to Cuba.
– Now, she lives in Canada.
– Shakira was her role model while growing up.
– She looks up to the Kpop group TWICE because of their bond as a team and the fact that they love what they do. (J-14 Magazine)
– In the first episode of A2K, she sang Adele’s “Easy On Me” for her audition.
– She started singing with her brother when she was just 5 years old.
– Her parents are both musicians and she started singing when she was 5 with her brother. (Teen Vogue)
– She also took part in the “BTS – Love Yourself” Campaign.
– In 2016, she participated in “La Voix Junior” (The Voice Junior) and made it to the top 3.

Kendall Facts:

– Kendall was the very last member to be introduced, making her the sixth member of VCHA.

– She was going for STEM education in college but withdrew herself for the love of music.
– Kaylee would sort Kendall into Ravenclaw because she’s really clever. (The Knockturnal)
– She got the chance to go to Korea for a special K-pop program and even performed with her friends there.

– Music means everything to her, it’s like her whole life.
– She is inspired by the Kpop group Stray Kids, especially 3RACHA.

– She has a mixed background, part Vietnamese and part American.
– She was in choir in school, and she did choir outside of school, as well as competed in choir competitions.

Savanna Facts:

– Savanna was introduced as the fourth member of VCHA.
– She was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA.

– She’s a mix of Venezuelan from her mom’s side and Trinbagonian from her dad’s side.

– She learned the choreography of TWICE’s “TT” as her first K-Pop song.
– She trained to become a professional gymnast for seven years, but unfortunately, she had to stop because of an injury.
– She finds Kaylee to be the funniest.

– She believes that the discipline she learned from gymnastics will be useful in her career in Korean music.

KG Facts:

– KG was the second member to be introduced in VCHA.
– She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, but shortly after her birth, she moved to Michigan, where she lived until she was 13.
– In 2021, KG relocated to Los Angeles, California, USA.
– She has received training in musical theater.
– She really enjoys sports such as Skateboarding, Basketball, and Football. (Teen Vogue)
– Songwriting is one of her skills and she is interested in music production as well. She has been training in music production in her free time.

– She said that seeing groups like NEWJEANS and NMIXX debut with members around her age inspired her to pursue music.

– She is known for being determined and always having a well-thought-out plan for everything she does.
