Hwang Minhyun (황민현) is a South Korean singer and actor under Pledis Entertainment.  He debuted solo on February 27, 2023, with the album “Truth Or Lie”. He’s a former member of the boy groups NU’EST and Wanna One.

Early Life

– Hwang Minhyun was born in Namcheon-dong, Suyeong -gu, Busan South Korea.
– He went to Gwangan Kindergarten and Hoam Elementary School.

Formation of Wanna One & Return to NU’EST

– According to the contract, Hwang Minhyun exclusively promoted with Wanna One throughout their entire 1.5-year contract.
– Even though his Wanna One contract officially concluded on December 31, 2018, he didn’t return to NU’EST until the end of January 2019.
– This arrangement was a result of an agreement between Pledis and Swing Entertainment, permitting him to participate in scheduled year-end events and award ceremonies in January 2019 as a Wanna One member.
– His final engagement with Wanna One prior to rejoining NU’EST was a four-day concert known as “Therefore,” which ended on January 27, 2019.
