QWER (최애의 아이들) members are Chodan, Magenta, Siyeon, and Hina. The 4-member K-pop girl group band debuted on October 18, 2023, with the single album “Harmony from Discord“ under Tamago Production.

QWER Facts:

– On July 2, 2023, it was revealed through the YouTube channel of Tamago Productions that they will be debuting the 4-member girl band.
– The members were revealed through the project OSHI NO KO.
– The QWER members were revealed in the following order: Chodan, Magenta, Hina, and Siyeon.
– One of their aims as a group is to have a performance at Kōhaku Uta Gassen in Japan.
– Their group name in Korean and a bit of concept elements came from the Japanese manga Oshi no Ko, which translates to “The Fan of Children” and it is a wordplay given the factors of the manga’s storyline and characters.
– However, their group name in English is QWER, which is the keyboard order of skill ordering for the video game League of Legends. Similarly, their fandom name, Rift Scuttler, was also selected to be in reference to League of Legends.
– On September 24, 2023, they announced the debut date and album name.
– On October 18th, 2023, they made their official debut with a single album “Harmony from Discord”.
– Chodan, Magenta, and Hina are Twitch streamers while Siyeon used to be in a Japanese idol group NMB48 Team M.
– Magenta and Chodan are under the internet entertainment company Treasure Hunter.

Magenta Facts:

– She and Hina live on the same floor.
– Her nickname is Genta, and Chodan often calls her that.
– When she was invited to join the group, she was happy to join Chodan, but she wasn’t satisfied with her bass-playing skills.
– On her phone, she has Chodan saved as Jihye, Chodan’s real name.
– Her first impression of Hina was that she seemed like a big baby.

3. Siyeon

Siyeon Facts:

– Siyeon was the last member to join, making her the fourth member of the group.
– On KakaoTalk, she has Chodan saved as “Jihye Unnie,” Magenta as “Genta Unnie,” and Hina as “Nayoung.”
– When she was invited to join the group, she didn’t believe it at first and thought it was a joke.
