TWICE (트와이스) members are Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. The 9-member K-pop girl group debuted on October 20, 2015, with the mini album “The Story Begins“ under JYP Entertainment.

Formation:

– In December 2013, JYP Entertainment announced their plans to debut a new six-member girl group in the first half of 2014. This group was significant as it would be the company’s first female group since the debut of miss A in 2010.
– In 2015, JYP’s founder, Park Jin Young, announced a new approach to forming a girl group. This time, it would be through the survival reality show called “SIXTEEN.” Sixteen JYP trainees would compete to secure a spot in the new seven-member girl group, which would eventually become TWICE.
