– Allen issued a private message on Universe, offering an apology for any offense caused by his remarks. He acknowledged that his response was narrow-minded and lacked awareness of the harm caused by cultural appropriation. He clarified that his intention was never to undermine fans who have experienced hurt due to cultural appropriation but rather to express his view of K-Pop as a global, inclusive community for artists and fans.
