Zhoumi (조미/周觅) is a Chinese singer-songwriter, actor, and radio DJ under SM Entertainment. He is a member of Super Junior’s subunit, Super Junior-M. He made his solo debut on October 31, 2014, with the mini album “Rewind”.

Early Life

– Zhoumi was born in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China.
– He graduated from Beijing Normal University (Zhuhai Campus Department of Culture and Arts).

Career

– Before joining SM, Zhou Mi had already established a name for himself in China through various singing and MC competitions.
– In April 2008, he made his debut as a member of Super Junior-M as a lead vocalist.
– He contributed to the first album of the sub-unit by writing Chinese lyrics for Love Song, Marry You, and A Man in Love. He also wrote Chinese lyrics for Confession and You & Me for their first album released in 2009.
– He also contributed to Kangta’s first Chinese digital mini-album in 2010 by writing Chinese lyrics for BreakaShaka, Remember, and Rainbow.
– He made his debut as a member of SM the Ballad with a single called “Blind” (Chinese version) in February 2014.

– On February 28, 2020, he collaborated with two members of WayV (Kun and Xiaojun) on the single “I’ll be There,” a tribute song to encourage people to fight against COVID-19 worldwide, especially in his hometown, Wuhan, China.
– On June 22, 2020, SM Entertainment released a digital single called “Starry Night” featuring Zhoumi in Korean and Chinese versions, collaborating with Ryeowook from Super Junior.
