– SMNGG will be debuting with eight members.
– SM trainee ‘Helen’ (03’ liner) who is a rapper and dancer and has been training under SM since 2019 is rumored to be the group leader of upcoming SM’s New Girl Group.
– There were a total of 21 trainees in the SM showcase evalution held privately on March 14th, 2023, out of which 8 trainees will be selected to be a part of SMNGG.
– SM trainee ‘Na Haeun’ a 09’ liner is said to debut in the SMNGG.

– On February 21, 2024, rumors circulated online that this new group will be named “WICHU” as SM Ent. bought the rights of this name.
