On July 10, 2023, Zerobaseone (ZB1) finally debuted with the EP “YOUTH IN THE SHADE” under WAKEONE. Kim Jiwoong is the oldest member of the group and is the only member who was born before the 2000s. He has been active in the industry as an actor and singer from a young age before participating in the show and debuting in Zerobaseone (ZB1). Despite being the oldest member and the one with the most experience, he is not the leader, instead, the leader is Sung Hanbin who is the third oldest in the group. This is similar to how An Yujin from IVE and Chaewon from Le Sserafim became the leaders in their respective groups despite being the second oldest.
Han Yujin is the maknae in the group and had a training period of 2 years and 3 months which means that he became a trainee when he was 14 years old. He debuted at the age of 16 which is around the age Jungkook debuted in BTS, at the age of 15.
